I've seen threads about spring swaps but the search bar yielded nothing of lube mixes. So please post what lubes you mixed (including brand and viscosity rating) and how they preformed. I'll update this post with the mixes below:

30k Traxxas w/ few drops of maru = Not good

1/2 lubicle speedy w/ 1/2 50k wt Traxxas = Good

Well there isnt much to it. Differential oils mix at a certain ratio (not linear but very close to it). Here is a calculator to figure out the exact numbers: http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/oil_mixer.html

Maru just makes everything a little faster for a small amount of time.

Shock oil too is just pure silicone oil at a very low viscosity and it acts the same as diff oil.

I've used lubicle speedy mixed about 50/50 by volume with OFNA 50k wt differential oil to get a lube that I like. Works very nicely. Feels like the lube in a cube after you leave it in a hot car. I mixed the two lubes in a clean shot glass and then suctioned it all up in a syringe.

I believe Maru lube is a suspension/colloid. It is small particles of silicone lubricant in some medium. The medium might be water. Leave a drop of maru lube out on a clear glass or plasitc surface it will appear to evaporate in less than an hour but there is a silicone residue left behind that doesn't evaporate. The residue is a thick silicone stuff that is clear and like the what we are used to but somewhat cakey.

Because of this I don't think the medium (water or whatever) is actually going to mix under normal circumstances with silicone lubes that aren't already micro particles. The residue will mix but might make things thicker/gummier.

This isn't really a mixture but 50k slows my cubes down a lot. Even with a little bit in it. Don't know why, people say it makes it super fast :/

I use a mixture of 30k and 10k, sometimes using more of one or the other depending on the cube I'm lubing, and usually I use that mix for both the core and the pieces. It works fine. Not much more to be said. . . . . except that adding maru lube makes the cube amazing, but everyone knows that.
