Looking for New PC and Monitor

I’m not going to be doing anything serious with it, I just want it to be able to handle more than 10 tabs open at a time, because my Chromebook kinda sucks at that. I think that that would mean I want a higher RAM?
chrome eats ram like a hog so get 16 gigs of ram or use a different browser like fire fox or edge, i use edge. If you use a dif browser then 8 gigs might be enough, but get 16 gigs just to be sure

Seriously? I didn't know my whole life that chrome eats away too much ram! I've always thought that it's the emulator's fault that I lag whenever I use it with chrome lol. (with 5 tabs opened in chrome)

Sorry for the double post, but micro center has some great pre builts that are like glorified school computers. They wont game well, but the have 16 gb of ram for 350. You can pair that with a cheap monitor like I have listed https://www.microcenter.com/product/626739/hp-prodesk-800-g2-sff-desktop-computer-(refurbished)

yeah, and you can slowly upgrade some parts as time goes on.

You could probably get a used custom pc for around 400, and I would look for higher ram because if you don’t use chrome you can’t use the glorious sound of scr telling you that you just got your pb
That should be it, I only got 8GB of ram, opening two emulators use is a bit tasky already for my pc. But still, I never thought chrome eats too much memory than other browsers.

Maybe you should just get a good budget laptop, like the Acer Aspire 5 with Ryzen 5 4500U Hexa Core and Radeon graphics. It's very epic, for the price at least, and you get 1080p and a 15.6 inch display. I don't think 8 gigs of RAM will be enough for people, but I think it's ok. Also, you get a 256gb NVMe SSD. There's also the IdeaPad 3 with the same specs, just that he CPU is a Ryzen 5 3500U, unlike the 4500U. The IdeaPad is your best bet, because you get Radeon Vega 8, but you don't get the 15.6 inch display, rather you get the 14 inch display.

Just a tip, if you look for bitcoin miners near you or even online, you can actually buy their used graphic in half the price or so. Many miners are selling their used ones after upgrading their PC's.

Dude, you better switch to firefox now, imo.
