I know what Look Ahead means, but do not know if I should use it in LL.

When I am doing the last pair of f2l, should I look ahead for the OLL? And When I am doing OLL, should I lookj ahead for the pll?

Well yea...
on the last f2l pair, it should be pretty easy to recognize the oll situation
but after PLL, It's kind of confusy to look ahead
since u have to adjust the U face

But Looking ahead is what ur aiming for

I am not able to recognise the PLL case during OLL, kudos to those that can. I rely on fast execution of the OLL and very fast recgnition of PLL. However, it is something I really need to improve to be as good as the best guys. THe thing to remember is that the LL requires a different tack to the F2L, look ahead becomes way less important, speed of turning becomes the most important thing.

Dan :)

I should help your timings a little if you look ahead for last layer. When doing OLL, I sometimes try to look for blocks that start to appear for PLL recognition.

On the OLLs, you can look for blocks of colors and see where they appear on PLL.
For example:
All the cubies on the R face of the top layer all appear on the L face of the top layer for the OLL: R' U' R' F R F' U R, so if you see a block there, you can look ahead easily.
