The 2nd video is not mine... but it shows more examples and comparisons like weight and size ^

This cube is by far my favorite Dayan 3x3 out of the box.

I have both black and white colors for sale here.

I am having some difficulties editing my website at the moment... so you'll see I wasn't able to update information and pictures :( Hopefully it works for you guys.

Thank you for shopping at Puzzle Addictions!

How does the weight feel compared to the Guhong and ZhanChi?
I had a Guhong first, and since two weeks a ZhanChi, which feels much lighter when cubing.

To be honest I don't really notice weight difference. I did link a video in my video's info box. The guy shows the weight (which I forgot) in that video.. maybe I should post the video here.

Does this cube overshoot a lot? Does it lock up?

I have this cube and it sucks. I think I did something wrong when putting it together. I experimented with switching pieces between this and the V1 and the cube with out the V2 center pieces turns out fine, but not the cube with those center pieces. This led me to believe that something was wrong with those pieces, and just those pieces. I took a center piece off both versions and I saw that my V1 only had one washer and the V2 had two. I am going to take off one washer and see if it helps. Also the V1 is springy when I pull on the center pieces while it is disassembled.(kind of like if you were checking the tensions) The V2 had this weird feeling and was stiff when I tried to do the same thing.

One more thing, the edges and corners look very close to identical, so they are probably alright. The centers are only slightly different. I hope the problem is only the washers.

Please let us know the outcome, since I am considering buying one.

Thanks,

yeah its better now, however the cube feels different than the V1. It feels crunchier. It may be like this due to the torpedoes rubbing the bottom of the corners or something like that. I will do a bunch of solves and see if it goes away. It is still really good now, but my V1 is better IMO due to the feel.

As of right now I recommend getting a regular lingyun and putting the dayan torpedoes in it, because the feel should not change. Or you can do the waffo-screw mod.

EDIT: It feels a lot like my alpha V.

I think people should get the lingyun 2 if they like crispy cubes. Which was one of the reasons why I bought this cube.

I don't know about you guys but I love my Lingyun V2. It's now my main speedcube but granted that I never had a ZhanChi, I don't know how much better it is. I've also read a couple of people who prefer their Lingyun 2 over their ZhanChi. Hope that helps. :)

Do you have a V1? btw, I have a guhong, lingyun, lunhui, zhanchi and lingyun 2. My current main is the guhong, but when I had a lingyun that modded with screws, that was my main.

EDIT: does it matter what side of the washer is up on the lingyuns? Does your lingyun 2 have one or two washers?

lingyuns should have 2 washers
