The final frontier.
These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its 5-year mission…

One day, the USS Enterprise was searching for diamond 💎deposits on the exoplanet 55 Cancri e, 40 light-years from Earth, which is covered in diamonds and likely accounts for at least one-third of its mass (about three times the mass of Earth).

At that moment, Ms. Uhura said, "Captain, we received an emergency transmission from United Earth, informing us that it appears the Klingons have infiltrated Earth."

Captain Kirk replied, "That's a major incident, but even if we complete our current investigation and head to Earth at maximum warp speed, it will take several days. It's too far to travel by transporter… Spock, is there anything we can do? Ms. Uhura, please tell us the exact location where the Klingons appeared."

Mr. Spock replied, "Captain, there's really nothing we can do this time, but with United Earth's combat capabilities, we should be able to respond even if the Klingons attack."

At that moment, Ms. Uhura said, "We received another message. It seems that the Klingons left Earth shortly after. It seems they came in a small, independent spaceship for reconnaissance purposes, rather than forming a fleet. They appeared at the WCA Championship venue in New York."

A short time later, United Earth sent a detailed report of the Klingon people's actions. According to the report, they had gone to the WCA Championship In N.Y. where a Clock competition was being held, showed their invention, Klock2, and asked the competitors there if they had seen it before. According to the competitors, Klock2 looked like this:

<Klock2 Details and How to play>

First, please refer to the previous version, Klock, and the changes to it are listed below.

1. Both the left and right wheels rotate the hour hand of the clock CW and CCW. (This was likely designed this way because Klock2 uses the back of the board of Klock, and also that is convenient for left-handed people.)

2. Nine clocks have been added on the back of the board, and the numbers on those clock faces are now five patterns, as follows:

Middle center: 1 -12 (o'clock)
Middle left and middle right: 1 - 13
Top right and bottom left: 1 - 14
Top center and bottom center: 1 - 15

Top left and bottom right: 1 - 16

3. The solve is complete when the times on each clock on the back of the board match. (Ignore the clocks on the front.) Unlike Clock and Klock, it doesn't need to be set to 12 o'clock, but since the clock in the center of the middle row is displayed between 1 and 12 o'clock, it will be set to any time between those two.

Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock laughed at the thought of the Klingons confirming in advance that something similar to Klock2 hadn't yet been invented on Earth, and imagining them boasting that Klock2 wasn't a copycat the next time we met…

Thank you for your reaction. I'm happy to have received a comment from someone like you who actually plays Clock. 😊

After checking web, I found that all Clock puzzles display the time from 1 to 12, just like the clock on Earth. However, Klock2 has 5 different types of clocks with different time spans, which I think can be more confusing to solve.

Fortunately, there are two 14-hour clocks, two 15-hour clocks, and two 16-hour clocks positioned point-symmetrically to the regular clock in the exact center, making it easy to remember.

However, I don't play Clock, so the above is just my assumption.
