Space:
The final frontier.
These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its 5-year mission…
One day, while the USS Enterprise was investigating the massive black hole SDSS J0749+2255, it received a long-distance space travel beam. Ms. Uhura told Captain Kirk, "We've received a transmission from the planet Klingon, requesting a conversation." Captain Kirk replied, "OK, connect the line."
The call began. "Captain Kirk, it's been a while. I'm Gowron. I told you the other day that the Möbius loop puzzle we brought back from your ship was becoming popular in our world. Then, some clever kid HERE discovered that he could create a similar puzzle using one Rubik's Cube, some pieces of toilet paper, a ballpoint pen, etc., and word spread. Someone HERE even made one out of a piece of wood. Now, it's a puzzle enjoyed by people of all ages.
(Note: In reality, the idea was thought up by Superman's grandson, whose post on SpeedSolving.com was likely spied by them.)"
Captain Kirk replied, "It's been a while, Gowron. Well, next time we have a chance, let's have a contest to see who can solve it the fastest. By the way, as for the Kube you had given us, I looked into it and found that Jaap Scherphuis had already introduced the similar ones on Earth."
Gowron insisted, "Your cube is an imitation of our Kube!" and unilaterally demanded that they accept the new Kube, citing non-theoretical evidence: "As proof, a new version of the Kube, 'Kube2' has been released in our world. I'm sure it hasn't yet in your wold. I'll transport it to you now, so take it!" At that moment, a message came from the transportation room informing them that a package had arrived. Captain Kirk and Spock went there and opened the package, and found the new Kube2. It looked like the following diagram.

The new Kube2 looks the same as the previous Kube, but it has several different features.
1. Like the previous Kube, it contains 26 cube pieces. However, the six faces of each piece in the Kube2 are painted the same six colors as the Kube2's faces. This means that all 26 pieces are identical.
2. While the Kube's pieces simply slid inside, the Kube2's pieces can also be rotated like a Rubik's Cube.
3. The surface of each piece is coated with colored fluorescent paint. If you put it in demonstration mode at night and place it on a desk, the color patterns will change, making it a very beautiful ornament.
The old Kube's pieces simply slid, so the orientation of the pieces remained constant. However, the Kube2's faces rotate, so the orientation of the pieces also changes. Therefore, it can be assumed that solving the problem is more difficult than before.
Spock immediately began investigating to find a solution theory to the Kube2. The results will be reported at some point...
