[WR] Kian Mansour - 9.54 OH Average

Finally a roux wr
I am a loyal roux solver and use it for 3x3, 3x3 oh, 3x3 wf, and 3x3 FMC, but not (yet) 3x3 bld. Also kian will be the one to break the infamous 6.88 single

- Got any videos of you using Roux for WF?

- How do L6E work in FMC? They're highly dependent on M Slices...

- "Not yet for 3BLD"? I have news for you.

You can do a lot of LSE influencing during SB and CMLL to get really short LSE solutions; I believe LSE can be done in around 10 moves (OBTM) on average for sufficiently advanced Roux FMC solvers.

(Which is not to say that Roux is a good main method for FMC, because it's not.)

1) I dont have any videos yet but i will after my comp this weekend and I'll post them on my channel

2) I try as much cmlls as I can to get the best lse case, but I don't do fmc that much and my pb is 43.

3) !?

2) If you're going to try to get a short LSE, you should also try doing different block solutions.
(Or just try learning a better FM method like Petrus :p)

3) People don't use normal speedsolving methods for BLD. It's very difficult to solve like that. You use different methods for BLD solving.

I know, I use op/M2 for bld now but it would be cool if someone got a rouxbld in comp.

Also I dont really care about fmc and if i used petrus I would make a roux FB then extend it into a 2x2x3.

Not that I'm going to post a video, but I use Roux for feet. I'm not really fast; my PB is only 1:34.79 (from today, actually), but I feel like it has a lot of potential with feet. Low movecount, okay ergonomics, and L6E is doable as <E,R>. I think the biggest problem is all of the wide turns. I'd like to practice more and magnetize my big sail, and I feel like I'd be able to get pretty quick.

Whoa... What? I did not see this coming at all.

If Kian ever got the WR with Roux I expected it to be 2H, but an OH Roux WR? I knew Roux was good for one handed, but didn't know it was THAT good :P. Impressive!

I don't have any video of solves, but I have a feet LSE tutorial

Here are my current Roux feet averages
