Is touching the timer with your non-solving hand legal?

I saw a video of...I think Dan Dzoan doing a one hand average and his non-solving had was always on the timer.

I don't see why it wouldn't be legal, I just thought I would make sure.

well for a stackmat timer to work both pads much be touched at once. So your non-solving hand can do whatever it wants (save for touching the cube or assisting your solve) as long as it it on the timer at the start and end of the solve to start and stop the timer.

Yes, it's legal, and I do that. If I don't do it, my other hand like twists in a weird way, hahaha. Chris twists his other hand sorta, if you watch his videos.
