Juan holds the UWR for megaminx single with 30.17, so I'm sure sub-30 is possible.

Also, why is this (and his newest single) not recognized as WRs by the WCA? It still lists his times from nats, but his profile page is up to date and there are newer WRs on the WR page.

Have you tried hitting "Refresh"? I see them there just fine.
