If you go to YT Studio and click on the analytics of the video, it will show you the actual number of views versus what is shown on the site. Not sure why but it works

Also if you yourself opened the video, even for half a second, it will count it for about 2 to 3 days

YouTube deletes views made by the uploader - you probably opened it 20 times
YouTube Studio is the best place to find the most accurate number!

My best tip to you is something that has already been said but is extremely important - QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. I've finally started to do that with my content - rather than pumping out a video or two a week that are low-effort, I do one or two a month that are high-quality. And you don't need expensive software to edit like this - my most recent video (check on TWCubed) was made with ClipChamp, Microsoft's free editing software.

Here's an example: i've started to take the "high quality" thing into account for the past two months. Look at the results (previous videos got 2-300 views, 500 subs)

If you want views - make high-quality content!


Also, make content that you want to make, not what others want you to make.

I would recommend not asking people to watch your videos. It makes you seem desperate for views. You can just post the videos here and people will most likely watch them on their own
