@JDAW6 I do think that focusing on either long form or short form will generate more views for you though.
Most famous people do long form, and some short here and there, like cubehead, people who only does shorts, their long form is generally not even like 0.1% percent of shorts, like I do long form, and do like educative shorts, they are similar with my long form, don't do completly different shorts and long form vids
 
If i'm being honest, I don't like the shorts.

I was a fan of the longform as it felt like each video actually had some passion behind it rather than the sole purpose of trend-hopping for views. I've said it many times and I'll say it once more:

10 subscribers who actively watch and engage with all your videos is better than 1000 who don't.

People scrolling on shorts, mindlessly liking and maybe subscribing are in the latter category.

I’ll start making more longform and stop with the shorts, you have come to watch quite a few of my streams and seem to be a longtime watcher of my channel since you have said that you like longform I’ll start doing that.
