Okay Im ranked top 30ish in ga for clock (30th for average) (33rd for single) but is it weird that that I use beginners and not 7simul flip?

If by beginners you mean flip then no, not really. People were getting sub-3 singles with flip before 7-simul was widely used. It can be a very fast method if you practise it enough, it's just that 7-simul is faster.
