Hello,,

DaYan V ZhanChi is to loose, is this normal.
I have it since 8 am today (02-08-2011) now it is 0:15 am and got 1 pop and 1 exlosion, during a solve.
Testing de corner cutting I got 2 pops and 3 explosion.
If it pops it explode, that you can see on the end and the torpedos are in the edge pieces, in all the 12 edge pieces.
I ordered it from iCubeMart, I have lube it with Lubix, only in the core and on 2 edges and it comes so out of the box.
I can tighten the screws more.
Also I thought that the cube is lubed out of the box by iCubeMart.

Here a video:

I hope you can help me.

Sorry for bad English.

Greeting Mathijs.

Does no one embed anymore? Geez! Sorry can't help you with this because I don't have a Zhan Chi. But general knowledge is telling me why don't you just tighten the screws? Ah well. I will embed the video for you.

My Ultimate Zhanchi is loose and is nearly impossible to pop in a solve. Yours, however, is ridiculously loose. I do suggest tightening it. If you try corner-cutting the U-layer slightly over 45 degrees with an R move, it should only affect the pieces on the right and back sides of the U-layer.

EDIT: Also if you pull the layer apart, the cubies should not separate from each other any more than 1/3 of a cubie.

That's.... odd. I guess you should try anything to get the screws on correctly until somebody else has a solution.

If it's turning then it should be adjustable as is.

Lol you MUST be doing something wrong. Plus if you don't know the answer to this question you are probably a nub anyway and shouldn't be using a DIY. It looks like you are expecting the corner cutting to be much better than it is and it is just locking up. So tighten the cube and deal with it. Idk what else to say.

Yeah but I cant get any move in the screw with a screwdriver.

Edit: It worked, I only have to look at how much I need him turned on.
