Is there a guide for tuning the cube?

ok i went and ordered my diy cube today, so i guess this means i wont be posting in the beginners section anymore because i take it seriously enough to buy a speed cube?
anyway, is there a guide to tuning the diy cube or does the instruction book pretty much cover it well?

I'm not looking for general tuning tips, i'm looking for how to optimize the DIY cube to be the very fastest possible.

but nowhere on that site does it mention DIY cubes.

I would just lube it will silicone spray and make it as loose as you need.
