i few days ago i baught a rubik's cube of ebay...
and every time i try to solve it the stickers seem to be in the wrong place, so i took the peices apart and put them back together in a solved state and seems to ok.

so if the stickers have been moved by someone does that mean it's impossible to solve?
MYKE...

If the stickers have been changed, yes it will be impossivble to solve.
would it be worth getting it to the second layer and rechanging them?

thats where it keeps going wrong!

Just so you know, you can always solve the first two layers of the cube no matter how messed up the stickers are. So solve the first two layers, then change the stickers on that top slice. Or if your cubes stickers are really messed up, just replace all the stickers by peeling them off, and putting new ones on.

That is true only if the cube is just assembled incorrectly. But if stickers have been peel off and swapped, it's very possible that solving F2L (or even one single cubie!) is impossible.
