Is anyone else severly disappointed in their F-III?

I had finally obtained my F-III today and I just have to say, it is a horrible cube (in comparison to my others.) After having an F-II for three years and absolutely loving it (it was just replaced by my Zhanchi) I expected to F-III to at least be as good if not better than the F-II. Out of my 9 3x3s, the F-III is the third worst, only better than my C4U glow in the dark DIY and my Ghost Hand 2003A; hell, even my Rubik's is better! The ONLY good thing I can say about the F-III is that it is lightweight, other than that, I wouldn't even give it a second thought. I will not be using this cube at all and I feel that I have just wasted my money.

My suggestion, if you want to get the F-III, save your money and get an F-II.

@OP: I totally agree.

One of the things that made the F-II great was the low-friction soft plastic. The F-III abandons this strength and puts me in the mind of the Rubik's DIY--noisy and klunky and locky.

Others have said that if nothing else it is fast. If by "fast," you mean "slow," then I agree. I've got it loose enough to pop all over the place and it's still not a very fast cube, lots of friction that lube cannot overcome.

It's less than a day old, so there is no accounting for break-in, but I do not have high expectations.

Are you guys kidding me? My f-III feels great as rubiks DIY spare parts.

zhanchi ftw.

Well that's odd. I love my FIII and hate my FII. Then again, I like crispier cubes... only problem with the FIII is that it's a bit locky.

You like the F3 more than the F2? I'm hoping I do also, because so far, it looks really disappointing. Make sure you let me know when you're ready to post a video on SickXTB. If you have trouble coming up with video ideas, make it about this. (The F3) I still don't feel like I've seen enough about it.
