Does anyone know a good link for ZBF2L tutorials? I looked some up on YouTube® and i found one. But it was in Cantonese or something.
I don't want a reply saying that "ZBF2L optimizes moves. What's the point in learning it intuitively?", I just want some actual help.
Thanks!

For the FR slot, use F'U*F and RU*R' triggers (U* = some U rotation) to orient edges. Then finish the slot using 2gen (F and U turns only, or R and U turns only) so that you don't misorient any edges. You have done intuitive F2L + EO (=ZBF2L).

However, doing it this way wastes a bunch of moves compared to any of the more optimized systems (F2L OLL PLL, ELS CLS PLL, ZBF2L ZBLL, etc) and isn't really recommended unless you absolutely cannot deal with EOLL for some reason.

ya i commented on that video, i speak cantonese and can translate if you want, but i gotta say his tutorial was pretty pathetic and zbf2l is pretty useless if you dont know COLL or ZBLL

Well if you really want to use F2L + EO, couldn't you just learn VH? Thats only 16 algs as opposed to ~400, and it is sort of intuitive, because you still have to use intuitive F2L and then just a simple algorithm to insert the pair and orient the edges.

Then once you have done that, I would say start learning COLL, then if you really wanted to after, full ZBLL.

VHF2L. It's actually a subset for ZBF2L. It's on YouTube, Dan Harris' old site, and many other places. But you don't learn ZBF2L algorithms like normal algs. You learn what they do, not how to do them. It is much better to just work through every VHF2L case on your own and find out what happens. That's how I did it and I mastered VHF2L in less than an afternoon.

Also, read Jason Baum's warning about the VH cases and take it into consideration. I have found it to be incredibly true.
