So I've basically been practicing 3x3 since I first learned to solve one, not really taking a break (I did take a short break to do 2x2) now 7 months in and I'm averaging 16 seconds. I want to still get faster but I just feel a little burnt out on this event. So what should I practice next. I have a 2x2 (I know full CLL but still average 6 seconds), a 4x4 (I learned yau last week but haven't done much since), pyraminx (I started learning intuitive L4E but again haven't done much), and a skewb (this I practice the least and I don't even think I really know a method solidly). So again, what should I do because this is my favorite hobby I've ever had and I don't want to quit because of over doing one event. I also am getting a Sq-1, clock, and 5x5 soon but I don't know when.

try BLD, it's fun

You seem to be really into 3x3, so you could try to let benefit 3x3 from other events. 4x4+ is good for look ahead. You could also learn CP recognition by learning CLL in 2x2.

Sign up for a comp, take a few week break from 3x3. Then you’ll want to practice it a lot. If there isn’t any comps near you, practice other events. Then when one roles around, you have multiple events you aren’t horrible at.

So I decided what to grind (thanks y'all) but I also thought of what I could do for this year. I want to (at least try to) do every WCA event (not like at comps only but just trying them out). Why you may ask, for a number of reasons:

1. I hate myself (jk).
2. This will motivate me to get more cubes that I want.
3. It will help expand my capabilities and what events I like.
4. It's a fun challenge.

Are you going to be trying to do big blind events?

Yo great goal, I actually have the same one!! I recently decided that I wanted to be able to do do all of the WCA events by the end of the year. In CUTOFF time. Im not like you other guys who are crazy at the cube lol, I only average like 20 seconds on 3x3, so this will be... difficult. But Im looking forward to it! Cant wait to see how you do too, keep us posted!
