I have lubricated my cube, I have sanded my cube (sort of), I know finger tricks, now it is very smooth. I use the beginner's method and best time is 1:12. What is the best method or methods to solve to the fastest and extreme? Where are the best tutorials to it?

when you get around 40 seconds on average, i suggest watching badmephisto's tutorials on intuitive f2l, and learn 2 look oll and pll. i haven't even learned all of 2 look yet, but i average sub 30, so there is major room for improvement.that just shows how fast it can be.

most people once they get to around 40 sec average with beginners move to another method.. fridrich for example or intuitive f2l. im still at the 45 sec mark with beginners but with a little modification. but slowly im learning fridrich and already i use it when a particular case comes up that i would normally do differently.

this site has a really good printable page which i carry around with me when i cube and the animations really help to see where everything goes.

A lot of beginners say what their best time is, but there was no average displayed, and an average shows more what speed you're at. My best time is sub-10, but don't even average 15 seconds.

How long have you been cubing? Try to at least get 1:00 average, and then from there keep going until you feel that you're ready to learn 2-look OLL and 2-look PLL too. There are other methods out there too, like Petrus and Roux, that you may want to research here on the forums.

Really?

I think that many people would agree if I were to say that the fastest basic methods are Fridrich, Roux, and Petrus. Other than that, just practice. Also, you can use the search function of the forum to search for threads with questions that have already been asked, such as this one. This saves people's time, as they don't have to re-write a reply they've given countless times. ;)

i have been cubing for 3 years, i dont take it too seriously, only for entertainment, but i would like to show off in front of my friends and impress them

Well not really, I just do it to impress people and cube as a talent, not really to show off

You will have to practice

I get a 40-50 seconds average on my cube.

I didn't do anything to it like sanding or something.
I have my Rubik!

Practice and you will get better, I guarantee it!
