My first sub13 solve. I was just casually doing some solves on cubetimer just now and beat my PB of 13.93 by almost a second. My PB is now 12.96 seconds. I wish I had video of this. There wasn't OLL/PLL skip. PLL was an A Perm, Oll was RU2R2U'R2U'R2U2R. (I don' know the name of it). None of the pairs were preconnected but it was a pretty easy F2L. YES!!!!!

Oh wow! There's a thread for this. God, now I feel like an idiot. Please someone move this before the entire cubing community starts to yell at me.

Funny, I just beat mine, finally sub-20!!!!! Previous, 21.97, now 17.39.
I got lucky, PLL skip, second PLL skip that I have done while timing.

OK... that's just creepy... I had a pb of 21.xx then I dropped suddenly (as a single) to 17.83 (gah beat me by .5)... Seriously creepy...:p (PLL skip too...
I've heard the OLL called blinker, but I just call it car. I guess...

It's funny, before me and my friend came up with names for the OLLs while doing team BLD, I used to call it, "the cross with two facing the same and two opposite each other!!!"

Congrats on sub-13

That is weird... My personal best non-lucky is 21.97, couple 23 seconds, 24 seconds, stuff like that. I use 2-look OLL and full PLL, other than 3 alg, 2 happen to be the G-perms.

Okay, now I know that the OLL is called Dead Guy.
Thanks for the congrats guys (and girls?).
Also, I'm not that great, my average is only ~19 seconds.

RU2R2U'R2U'R2U2R. (I don' know the name of it).

I remember at Worlds 2007 that most of the Europeans called this the "push push" alg because you do the first U2 with right thumb followed by left index style trigger.

Chris

I like Bob's "dead guy" the best. Though I don't really understand how it makes any sense. :)

I always refer to this as the Air Jeff, but that term might be used to describe the trigger.
