I hate my A perms

My a perms rocket up to 5 seconds my slowest plls so far. Only because I can only do a D2 fingertrick with my left hand and slow regroup. how does everybody get that so fast?:confused: (Don't say practice because I hate people telling me that and I tried that and it wasn't improving.

It took me 2 weeks to get my U2 fingertrick down with both hands. I'd suppose it would be the same for D moves. Even though you said not to, I'm serious when I say just use it in solves and get used to it.

Do (depending on left or right hand) D'/D with Pinky finger, then Ring finger, that's a faster movement that requires less effort.

I feel your pain, I've gone through 4 sets of A perm algs, before deciding to force myself to use the most popular ones (like in that video but using pinky-ring) it's taken quite a while before it started to feel half decent. I guess it just takes time.

I use algs that use U2 instead of D2.
cw: x' R' D R' U2 R D' R' U2 R2
ccw: x' R2' U2 R D R' U2 R D' R (this is by far the fastest A perm I have used) (no regrips needed for the ccw)
