How to solve a 4x4x4 Rubenking/Tricube?

I have what I believe is a center parity problem that I am having a rough time with. On the 4x4x4 Tri cube sticker setup (I believe it probably happens on the Ruben king also) I have the cube complete and have to fix the center by rotating them 180 degrees or 90 degrees, but about 50% of the time I get an odd number of centers that I have to rotate 90 degrees, this does not happen on the 3x3x3. The 2 Alg’s I am using are:
To move top face center CCW and the left face center CW by 90 degree.
M’ E M U M’ E’ M U’
To move top face center 180 degree.
U R L U2 R’ L’ U R L U2 R’ L’
I think you can see my problem there are times when I am left with one face off by 90 degees, since the Alg. I am using turns 2 faces 90 degrees. I am always chasing my tail.
I tried a center edge cycle Alg. (until it made me nuts) needless to say it didn’t work for the Tricube works fine for 4x4x4 center for picture cubes. I will include it anyway.
Rotates 3 center edges on top face CW with the right front center piece remaining in the same location
f R’ d r B’ l’ B r’ B’ l B d’ R f’
The Tri cube sticker setup is at this link (this is for the 3x3x3) the 4x4x4 centers has 2 solid and 2 split cubes.

If anyone has an Alg. To rotate a single 4x4x4 center 90 degrees it would be greatly appreciated.

I found the answer from a thread 3 years ago, I am a new member and the previous times I look I couldn't find it-- sorry for the repeat. here it is if anyone else is interested.

From old thread-----

I haven't actually played with a Rubenking 4x4, but if I understand the color scheme correctly, the following alg should work if you turn the top and bottom faces so that the front-right-most centers of both faces are the same (single) color:
U (r2 D' r2 D' r2 D2 r2) U' (r2 D2 r2 D r2 D r2) U r' F r' b2 r F' r' b2 r2
