If you really practice Ortega, you can easily sub-4. (My official averages are all done with Ortega).

Holy crap. I have a legit faster single than you. I know it's crap but I still find it pretty stupid because I average just sub-6.

EDIT : Oh, @ Sahid Velji. If the Type C is too expensive, I recommend a LanLan.

Try to plan a one look solve (its great for blind) . Or if one is too much, try a two look solve (with yes, ortega). I managed to get a 5:xx average. It was fun.

I have the Sune, AntiSune, H, and Pi cases learned, but I'm giving myself the rest of today to make sure Pi recognition is good. I got lazy and put off learning it >__>

Seriously, turn speed. I can get sub 4 averages pretty easily with LBL. I knew about 60% of CLL when I got my first (and only lol) official sub 4 average. Not knowing a CLL doesn't kill my solve at all.

You can be sub 4.5 if you are good.

Good luck with that! I am trying to learn CLL for the third time. Everytime I have tried to learn it I end up getting bored and I stop so I only remember the H cases, some Pi and a few from the others. I think I will actually learn it because I finished learning ELL a few days ago and I will also learn the 3x3 alg after I am finished with the 2x2 case.
