Back in college I practiced minimum 3-4 hours per day, with some days as much as 6 hours. Now that I'm working it's more like 1-2 hours per day, with maybe 2-3 hours on weekend days.

As of late it's been more like 1 hour or less. I need to stop being lazy :-S

Chris

at the moment, I am cubing a lot and hanging out a lot in the forum because I have vacation right now. When school restarts, I won't cube that much anymore, like 30 minutes or some like that.

At the moment, I am cubing for 2-4 hours a day.

Since it's summer vacation, I'm practicing between 1-2 hours a day. It will probably be more like 30 minutes a day once school starts. I'm really only practicing a little 3x3, 3x3 oh, 3x3 bld and 4x4 bld anymore.

I've realised something.
Now that I've gotten fast and achieved times I'm happy with, I feel that cubing isn't that much about actually cubing. I do still strive for faster times, but what I strive more for is communicating with other cubers, and helping the newbs and talking with friends. A word of advice, although its called cubing, that's not really whats its all about.

I find the same thing true for me.

Same here. It's the main reason I am not really getting faster and why I am on this forum and at competitions so often

For me around 1~2 hours currently. 2 months+ back when I started cubing was around 3~4 hours daily, that time spent lots of time learning my 2x2,4x4,5x5,3x3 blindfold. Now this month mostly on fridrich and borrowed my friends pyraminx 2 days ago, starting to learn some roux and petrus too, but for speed practice I still use fridrich. Somehow I don really know how long I cube, most of the time I spent on surfing net for better solutions and algs(I always get bored practicing the same method or type of puzzle for long period of time).

probably like half an hour a week, and never for the past few weeks.
Before, when I wasn't busy at school, I cube during boring classes and on the bus, so that's perhaps 3 hours a day if I cube the whole time, but I don't, so realistically, that's more like 1.5 hours. Pretty much never on weekends.

I cubing everyday. I work as a technical assistance and i talk with hours, and when my fingers is not on keyboard i solve the cube, i learn algorithm and
watch youtube rubiks tricks. Everyone around me think
that i am crazy, but i think that cubing is super sport for fingers and i love it.
