How much does dropping a cube effect it?

Title says it all. Basically dropping cubes like yuxin little magix/gan 356m/ moyu rs3m. How much does it effect it? If a lot, how so?
Edit: Assume height like from a table - 3 feet ish

It depends really on the cube
I have dropped a few cubes ( cuz I am clumsy *facepalm* ), and the MGC EVO broke, but the Gan 11 M hasn't broken and the MGC 4x4 hasn't broken either.

all you really need to know is that you should probably be careful with heavy cubes and/or hard surfaces.

If the pieces fall apart, you can put them back together (may be slightly damaged/worn etc.), but if the plastic breaks then it’s the end for the cube.

hi sorry for really late reply but i have a gan 11 m pro and i drop it TOO MUCH, if you have a fancy cube not much bad will happen other then like scratches, but yeah if the plastic breaks its gone, if you have magnets in the corners that magnetize to the center (gan 11+) then you might wanna check if any fell out when you dropped it,

I've dropped my cubes several times (I'm stupid w/ my motor skills)

Depends on the cube.

For 3x3, most cubes will be fine.

If you use the AoSu as your main 4x4, dropping it doesn't destroy the cube, but it can make it illegal to use in competition.

For 2x2, you have to hope that a corner cap doesn't come apart. It usually doesn't, but if it lands at just the right angle, it might.



I also once dropped a really bad square-down a stair by accident and it miraculously survived, probably because it didn't hit the hard part of the floor.

It felt like a rubik's brand though.

You can feel the marks and they are noticeable

Dropping a cube such as the Little Magic would do nothing except make a small mark. The cores and stems of the pieces are strong enough that they can withstand minor impact. But I have no idea what a Little Magix (spelled with an "x" in place of a "c") is, and you used the word "effect" in place of "affect" (I am a grammar policeman).
