How long did it take for you to get sub 20 seconds?

I never timed my solves it's been about 10~9 months since I started cubing. I timed my solves yesterday and I got a 17 second single and an 23 sec average of 12.

I use full pll and about 30 OLLs. I use intuitive F2L and I am currently learning few algorithmic F2L

4 months (approx 3 months and 2 weeks) sub 20 :) Practice slow turning and looking ahead without timing and you will get it :)

First solved a cube in July and learned full pll in December 2013. Currently my best time is 20.01 and it's extremely annoying XD

my average is 35 secs and iv been cubing for 1 month. Any tips on how to get faster? I know 2 look oll and full pll.

Make sure you don't pause anywhere in you solve, especially during F2L and Cross->F2L.

That's just generic.

You're going to have to be a lot more specific if you want specific tips.

Also, don't bump old threads...

It took me 4 months from not knowing how to solve to sub 20
My last layer is extraordinarily bad- 8 seconds on avg!
Even though I know full pll and 90% of the oll
