How I should continue?

pochmann! I got visual info memo...and that´s why I feel so...

Blind solve is more impressive if u do it like 3min or less?
agree/disagree?

this 3OP method sounds complicated to me. classic pochmann is easy for me, but is it slower in the long run?
Yeah and it requires more memo...
Doesn´t it?

A crapload more memo. You need to remember orientation and permutation! Setup moves can be crazy too.

what requires more memo? 3op or pochmann?

Pochman, because in pochamnn you are required to remember every piece and its orientation, in 3op, you orient everything first, so that permutation is just remembering what piece it is.

Now with that answered, can someone please for the love of god help me with my corner permutation???? I'm getting so frustrated because everything else is PERFECTLY clear.

3OP less memo <3 Or easier memo <3

Any1 using here BLD solve method combinations? Maybe he/she can help Panda:)
Im looking for the answer and u will get it Panda...sooner or later...
Now Im tired...sub 8min "under table solve" today without paper is good enougth:D:D:D

QUOTE=QUOTE=QUOTE=QUOTE=QUOTE=QUOTE=QUOTE xDDDDDD

It can be easier memo for beginners...but it is easier to do it in 2 steps...
and faster at start...

Sn3kyPandaMan! There is no sence in ur style...I can make combinations but u can start a new only after u finish one cycle and u will have parity, maybe!

.....so I've some to the conclusion, that nobody on this forum, is either willing to, or has the ability to, articulate and summarize, corner permutation. I am now, going to kill myself, to stop my insanity.

That's wrong...
U can do it but u need a lot memo and u need to check situation always after
doing one alg...U are not going to swap just 2 pieces...U need to swap 3rd too
which gonna varie. It is hard to control but maybe u can get it...Im just waiting
for it, so u can teach it to me...even better than Im doing it...

So once again, im going to point out how nothing your saying is making any sense to me, and i recomend you stop, before i go insane....

Anyway today was a good day...
3rd day after learning blind solve and I get sub 8min solve with no paper(4min memo, 4min solve)
Im loving this so much...and getting better I hope...
also today...Average 10/12: 22.91 :p

Ps. Tomorrow it is my 11st week...

Speed is more Impressive than Blind. Blind takes too long and gets boring to watch.
Nah. That's just a matter of opinion. Some people are more impressed by speed, others blindfolded. I would think most people BLD because they're amazed that you have the ABILITY, not the speed to solve the cube (technically) without looking at it!

Both are impressive; looking at Erik's 7s solve and Ville's sub-40 BLD's are both godly amazing.

Yeah... TRUE!

Also I think that:
Speed solving is more impressive with cubers(cause mostly know that BLD is posible!)
BLD solving is more impressive with non-cuber(cause they got no idea how it is possible!)

well...because they have no / little knowledge about cubing and therefore don't know that there are special methods to solve the cube blindfolded...they thought that we are using our speedsolving methods to solve it and how could we track the pieces going all over the cube..

like the other day...I saw a yoyo player, he was playing some weird type of yoyo...and I didn't know that yoyo also have lots of categories too..... he explained it just like rubik's cube, we have 2x2,3x3,4x4 and 5x5..for yoyo, there are 1A,2A,3A,4A and 5A yoyo types.. many things are unexpected to someone that do not know about the things..

Yeah...
This sounds stubid but yoyoes O.o' !? strange xD
I didn´t know...ok Im just stypid! xD

Im really up to my memo limits...
Studie for 4 tests, each after another...
Also memo for BLD solving...
So tuff and I got headache!

@Sn3kyPandaMan, there is no such cycle as (1 2 4 5 6 7 5 6 7 5 6 7 ...).
Your recognition is faulty if you loop back into the middle of the cycle. Why? In the given example, if the piece in position 4 belongs in position 5, then how can the piece in position 7 also belong in position 5? Look more carefully. Maybe you didn't distinguish white from yellow on a piece? For example, my position 4 is just above position 8; if I confuse top/bottom colors, I might go to the wrong one. The sample memos given at cubefreak.net might help. If I didn't answer your question, can you rephrase it?

I found that people who have no experience cubing have no clue how hard it is to speed solve or BLD. It's like me trying to explain it to my pet cat. They would not believe the cube has 43 quintillion positions once you explain how big that number is. But for those who have spent a few hours trying to solve a cube, these people are surprised to see it solved fast, and they are in awe of the "magic" of solving it BLD.

@ everybody, should I combine my last 3 posts into 1? Or is it okay to have 3 since the topics differ?

you've passed me already, nice one.

and in my experience BLD solving is more impressive that speed solving. Some people just can't believe it can be done.
Nice, how do you improve so fast, well done you.
