How do you challenge your solving ability, other than with time?

I don't know about you, but I can only time myself solving the cube and be entertained by that for so long. I've started messing around with multitasking while cubing, I'll show you what I mean;

Sorry, I don't know how to imbed the video.
Not only can I solve the 3x3 up there, but I can do 4x4-7x7 and Megaminx (with 5x5 being my favorite to balance and solve). I'm hoping one day to manage a dab free Gigaminx solve. I've also started unicycling while solving, tightrope walking or balancing on handrails while solving, and I'm working on solving a 3x3 with my feet while juggling 3 balls.

I figured there was no way I could be the only person that tried random things like this while solving the cube, so now it's your turn to share. Vid's preferred, but stories are just as good.

Fewest Move Count
Blindfold Solving
One Hand
Underwater
Solving cube with each face making a photo instead of stickers.

The only thing out of the normal (for me) is solving while unicycling (which I need to start riding again) - not too hard honestly. If you can ride a unicycle and solve a cube separately, you can do it together.

I have enough non cubic cool puzzles to keep me busy most of the time but when I get tired of that I do computer simulation. I really enjoy gelatianbrain, it has a lot of fun puzzles. I completed the dinominx, master dinominx, megaminx and gigaminx today.

That Rola-Bola balance look really fun.

It's a ton of fun! In fact it's one of my favorite hobbies in the summer time and winter when it's too hot/cold to go balance or unicycle. I've got like 4 different size tubes that I use with it as well as a basketball that I put under the board and balance on.

I know that joggling is a common thing amongst juggler, for those that don't know, joggers will go out while and jog their route while also juggling. Three props is most common for this, but there are a few people that joggle with 5 balls. There are quite a few jogglers that have completed 10k's and higher. Any cuber's out there that take a cube or two along with them while jogging? I've taken my 5x5 with me on distance unicycle rides on my 36er before. My PB is a 5.42 mile ride with 8 5x5 solves. It was a lot of fun.

No you're not alone. I noticed that the cuber like games of skills. I began to juggle very young and I've solved the cube under water in the mid 80s. I am surprised that many of the Cuber are juggling. I've never seen a cuber solved BLD before me but now I'm not alone. You have talent to burn and creativity still has a place.

The cube was almost dead and his return, he needed a challenger

Mike, you're a beast!!!!!! :tu

@OP: I mostly just do BLD, so fun stuff for me is anything that makes my brain hurt.

When I want to challenge myself I like doing:
- 3x3 2-gen BLD
- BIG cubes (6 and 7) BLD
- distraction BLD training: in public, with alarm clocks (yes plural), with my roommate shooting me with nerf guns at random times during the solve , etc.
- speed BLD, though I haven't done it in a LONG time

I'm still not as hardcore as Mike about going "above and beyond" for BLD, but I like to push myself more than the usual sometimes. Mike is definitely the King of that in my eyes though :)
