I currently have an average of 35 seconds and I know F2L, 2 look OLL, and 2 look PLL.

i hate to tell you, but to be honest all you can do is practice. i am sub 20 and i use the same as you. just expand your knowledge and analyse you solve to find why its slow.
cyoubx has some good tutorials, see if he can do anything to help you.

Nobody linking to the how to be sub xx thread? I'd do it, but I'm on mobile.

1) Targeted practice, not just solving.

2) slow solves. Work on lookahead.

Practice. Begin to turn slow and work on your fluidity (try to get rid of as many pauses as you can in your solves) and start to look ahead. Good Luck

Practice. You should be able to get sub 20 or very close using that. Try to practice look ahead, by doing slow solves, and then looking for the pieces you're going to use, while solving the other pieces.

So check the cube out, and plan out your first couple of steps. When you start solving slowly, don't watch the pieces you're solving, but look for where the pieces are on the cube that you're going to need next. Then when you start solving those, look for the next pieces, ad consummationem.

Well, you could also learn other methods. Occasionally, different methods are best at some scrambles. I know CFOP, Roux, ZZ, Petrus and LBL (Though LBL isn't that important). For example, whenever you see an easy cross and an easy first F2L, just use CFOP. If you see an easy EO line that has most or all of it's edges already oriented, just use ZZ for easy solving. :D

Or, you could learn different variations on the LL. The combination of OLL and PLL IS arguably the best LL variation but others might be useful too. Although I don't know any but I heard there's this COLL and Winter variation and other related LL stuff could be very useful.

But, what's the most important thing to do is just do targeted practices. Targeted practices means that you have goals when you practice and try to reach that goal as you practice. I myself took about 5-6 months to sub-25 now.

Well, good luck! :D

Im in the same position as you. Thanks for asking this question. I feel like I really need to work on my cross. I'm at like 5-8 seconds now. Any tips on improving cross times? I find myself doing a lot of M moves.

Make sure that you make your cross on the bottom and plan it during your inspection time.
As exercise you can plan your cross, close your eyes and the try to solve it.
