im new at speedcubing and can average around 40 seconds on a good day. i first learnt a really long method. doing the top cross, top corners, middle layer, bottom cross, bottom corners and then moving the bottom layer to match. but this method will only take me so far. i've looked at the fridrich method and have started learning that but it will take me a while. has anyone got any suggestions on how to get faster by either a better method or better ways of lubricating my cube?? also does anyone know if there will be any comps in australia?? particularly in south australia?? i wanted to go to melbourne but physically cant
any help will be greatly appreciated
