Hello there, my name is 1x1 world record,
Towards the final days of February, Bing.com released their AI (artificial intelligence) driven search engine called Chat GPT (referred to as GPT throughout the rest of this thread). This thread will dive into the basics of GPT and some possible benefits to the speedcubing community. Feel free to comment your thoughts, like the thread, and giving a follow would be much appreciated. Without further ado, let's get into it.
To begin, GPT can do basic things like produce a scramble. Here is one that it made for me: R U’ F’ L D2 B’ R’ U2 F2 L’ U2 B2 R2 D2 F2 L2 U2 B2 D2. It will give you a different one every single time. Now, you might say that Cstimer does the same thing, but GPT's capabilities do continue. It can provide cubers with the latest updates/records and it can provide the best deals for flagship cubes. GPT can also provide notation for any algorithm. For example, I recently asked it for the J perm algorithm, and it gave me notation for the Ja perm and the Jb perm. The Ja perm is two moves shorter than the Jb Perm.
GPT's potential to benefit cubing is something that I believe in, and Bing.com is working to upgrade their search engine. In the future, it may be able to help with fmc, or it may create new methods. The best part about is that you can try it out yourself. So, what are you waiting for? Have fun, learn something, and be safe. I hope you enjoyed this thread. Please consider adding to this discussion.

For any reason you might be wondering, I am new here, and any mistakes are rooky mistakes.
