I Know this is kind of in the faq but i want to go into more detail. I am currently averaging 1:20 with beginners method on a crappy rubiks brand(type a is on its way from cube4you now) when should i start learning f2l and 2 look oll + pll? And when should i start learning full oll and pll.
Also, any reccomendations on vids to learn these methods?

Thanks,
Luke

F2L takes a while to get comfortable with, so I'd jump into that as soon as you can. Note, you're times will slow down when using new methods so don't worry about it, you'll get much faster soon enough. Also with F2L rather than trying to memorise algs, if you have algs just try to see what they're doing - learn how they split up pairs and reform them then insert them (depending on the case), if you understand what they do (rather than just memorising the finger moves) then you'll be able to do it from different angles which will help a lot in the long run. Also RiDo's Hunting Story is a great introduction to F2L (search for it on youtube).

Yeah, I would learn F2L from Badmephisto, then learn 2-look OLL and PLL, also from him. It will seem like F2L slows you down at first, but keep practicing it, and you'll get faster.
