I am stuck at 26 seconds on average and I was wondering if anyone knows how I could get under 20 seconds.:)

Browse the first couple pages of this forum. There are several topics relating to improving F2L and LL. Depending on the method, work on minimizing move counts.

Joseph Gibney? The guy that has crazy PLL?? Lol. After a while you can kind of guess which 2 OLLs you'll use for the cases you don't know, and it'll be executed as if it's one longg algorithm. if you can have 10 seconds F2L, 3 for EOLL, and 3 for COLL, and 4 for PLL, then you can have 20s. Frankly I think the 2 step OLL can be as fast as 4-5 seconds. And PLL may be 3 seconds.

Actually I already know all of the permution cases I just don't know all of the OLL stuff and I think maybe I might need to work on my Finger tricks as well.

I think you can do that after learning all the algorithms. I'ts better to have good finger tricks related to evry algrithms instead of learning all without of one, and the when that case shows up, you're dead (slow)

When you say you average 13 seconds on F2L is that including or excluding the cross?

one thing that helps me is slowing down my usual solve when practicing and practice looking ahead. If you know whats coming up next... you wouldn't have to pause during the solve. No pause= faster solve.

Is that how you got your 10.34 seconds avg of 10 Andrew? @_@

Try doing 2 pairs at once...this forces you to execute the first pair without thinking about it, but you use your mind to follow the next pair as you're doing the first pair's algo. I won't say that I can "see" the cubies in my head...it's more like a feeling, muscle memory-ish type. That's how I minimize the pause during F2L...I can already feel the next pair so I turn even faster.

Ok let's start from the beggining

even though i've only got under 20 1nce, i know how (my cube is stiff)

If u fail on making the whole cross, don't worry about it
just continue the f2l and when u get to the side, just add the edge

For the last layer, u should already know atleast the 2-look OLL and all perms
(exception of G)

THe General TIP

plan out cross
less gaps between algs
finger tricks
lubricated cube
move 2 ur subconciusness Overal: Practice

the cross is part of F2L, which stands for "first 2 layers", and the cross is part of it, no?

actually they are kinda used interchangeably. Most of the time I refer to F2L not as "First Two Layers", but instead I think of it as a method that's called F2L that helps you finish the two layers, right after cross.

13 seconds for F2L is quite characteristic for your average. Just keep improving it. Your distribution for 20seconds should be something like:

cross 3
f2l 10
oll 3.5
pll 3.5
total: 20

remember smooth transitions in F2L. You should always know what you are about to do next just as you finish an F2L pair. You should not have to stop and look for the next pair. You should have a pretty good idea of where your next edge/corner pair is, and how to get it where it's supposed to go

Even more importantly: Why not the G Permutations? They are actually very easy, and are among my fastest permutations. People seem to think, because they are cycling 6 cubies, that they must be so difficult, but they really aren't.

Ok guys I think I understand what I need to get faster my F2L is ok my PLL is ok I just need to get better at finger tricks and learn all of my OLL cases then I just need to practice a lot after that. Thank you for your help you guys.
