I’m trying to use the speedcubedb cross trainer. I read that it will give you first pair options. I must be pretty dense- i don’t get it.
For example:
Under #1, that gives you the cross solution. Under that it looks like it lists f2l cases. But how do i use that to figure out possible cross+1 solutions?

So take this example:
1. z2 F U' R2
It lists AF2L29 as a possible pair with the red blue pair in the bottom front right. Looking at how the cross ends with both of the red blue corner and edge pieces on top, Why wouldn’t i just solve as with (UL’U’L)y’(U’L’UL) ? I don’t see how they end up with the red/blue pair in the bottom front right.
