Help with Maru Barrel Cube Please!

Hi. I am having trouble finishing the barrel cube. I understand it solves a lot like a 3x3 which I solve many times a day. While I am probably over looking the obvious I am stuck. Here are the 2 examples of where I am at. They may both require the same alglorithm to solve but I am not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In this case I need to swith the yellow/red and yellow/blue pieces..(corner pieces?)

In this case I need to switch the front yellow/black piece with the yellow/green piece which is loacted directly accross from it.

First case: when this happens, you just have to take and f2l pair out and replace it with another f2l pair. So just switch 2 f2l pairs, and it should work once u do oll again. (all asuming ur using fridrich.)
second case: you need to do this algorithm,its very easy. F [M' U M' U M' U2] [M U M U M U2] F'

Well I am just beginning to learn the Fridich method. But the algorithm did the trick. Thank you very much.

You can swap two of the top edges using L R U2 L' R'. From there you just have to apply a U or N perm to solve your two cases.
