Hi all,

I made at thread a few months back regarding my cube club at school. But the problem is, is that it is dying. The last two meetings had only 3 people in attendance.

In short, I need help. I would like any suggetions to bring back members and keep them in. I have tried all of my ideas but they have failed.

Anything would be greatly appreciated. Worse comes to worse, I'll have to disband the club.

Well, I am trying to teach them. But they won't attend meetings, that's the problem.

What method are you teaching?

Some people learn better if they do corners first.

One guy at my school learned when I put the algorithms in arrow form. He did not understand the standard notation or the word "clockwise."

Same thing here. We are left with two people, and those 2 are me and my friend who formed the club, lol. I just practice in that time, or play table tennis.

I think it should be up to them. You shouldn't try to force people into attending. Yeah, it'd be great if we could get people into cubing and get it more mainstream, but it isn't for everyone.

Your school club is very different from mine. People are eager to come and learn the cube. They come to the meetings more than I do! Of course, only about 3 people show up every time, but it's enough people. In total, there are about 10 people.
