Help! Lube over my cube and hard to clean

I was lubing my RS3M 2020’s core with some silicone lube, and accidentally dropped some lube on the cube’s surface. Now the surface is so oily and I wanna clean it. I tried cleaning it with a wet towel, but it doesn’t work. I even tried putting a bit of dish soap on the towel but the cube is still very oily. Any suggestions on cleaning it? Thx a lot.

When that happened I just cleaned it with a towel, left it for 1-2 days and focused on other events, then cleaned it again and it wasn’t slippery. If I had any other cubes I would have just used them for a bit.

For the lube to react like that you must have put a LOT on the surface and probably lots inside it too. Usually I only use 4 drops of silicone lube, and maximum 6. If you are having trouble with counting drops, buy a lube dropper lid from some shop.

Use alcohol / hand sanitizer on a paper towel. Just dissolves and removes lube.
