hey guys, so today i bought some silicone based lubricant for my cubes to try out for the first time, its not a well known brand, but to quote "high perfomance lubrication" and "quick drying" were on the can, which cost me £4.83, the equivalent of around 7 dollars i think..? Well anyway i used it on one of my stiffer cubes to try out, but now its very stiff to initiate a turn, but during the turn it is okish, like now if i want to do a quick finger trick then it will be very strenuous on my finger lol, any help on how to fix it guys?

you might have not put in the right amount. I would get all the lube out and redo it just to see if it is the lube. There are lots sof threads and vids on how to do it right. just search it out.

after a bit of research i saw that silicone acts as an adhesive if not fully evaporated off the surface, so i figured this was my problem, so i done it again, but waited for the pieces to dry... they never really fully dried so i wiped them off and built it again, with the same effect, i think i should just stick to sanding them lol

Just wait for it to dry and it'll all be good. One thing I do to speed up the drying is blowing on the pieces. It sorta removes that sticky feel. But I'm using CRC 808 silicone so it could have different effects.
