Hello there.I am really strugiling to get sub 20 on 3x3. I watched all the videos for getting sub 20 but only helped a little. My latest Ao5 was 34.14. PLZ HELP

UPDATED 4/24/16:
I use CFOP. Two Look PLL and Beginners PLL (Not two look)

I used to be struggling with the same problem also. Iv'e always thought it would never be possible but practice i a very good thing and can help improve. What do you think are the weakest points during a solve (F2l, OLL, Pll)?

I remember when I was having lots of trouble getting to sub 20. I had already finished learning Full PLL by sub 25.
I believe what helped me the most was, of course, lookahead. Even now at sub 15, I will practice lookahead at around 4-5 TPS constantly, and 2 TPS constantly to try to reduce my movecount and try different things.
I also learned full OLL by sub 19, and that also helped a lot, but the memorization while you're solving after you just learned full subsets take some time to get used to.

You should have good lookahead and turn quality. It would also help if you learnt your full pll.

F2L is my weakest

Have you tried slow solving?
Almost everyone will say that if F2L needs to be improved...
It took me almost a month to get from a 20-22 average down to 18-19 on average.
Along with slow solving, try counting the amount of moves your F2L takes minus the cross (Not while timing yourself).
Also, try to check how many cube rotations you do during F2L, I still need to work on that a little.

Edit: F2L minus Cross should normally be around 35 moves or less.

Yes I did

R2 U B2 U F R' B L R F D' B U F' D2 U B' U

In total there were 10 Rotations during F2L including the Cross.
You want to keep rotations during F2L to about 2.

The Cross:
Your Solution: R z' L' U L x' R U' x' U x U2 L2

When solving using CFOP, you will usually want to start with holding the cube with the white center on the D-Layer.
It looks like the way you solve the cross is by solving it piece by piece.
Try setting up the cross pieces so that when you solve one, the other one is already at an easy setup.
In my solution, I see that 2 of the cross pieces are already in place, just misoriented. After that, I see that when I solve those two cross pieces, the White-Blue edge will have a one move setup to match relatively with the other 2 cross pieces.
Current Partial Cross: z2 L' F' R' L'
One cross piece remains, and has an easy setup, by manipulating the D-Layer so that pieces can be more easily solved, as long as you restore using D or u moves.
My Solution: z2 L' F' R' L' D L' u2

F2L-1:
Your Solution: z' (R U' R' U) (L' U2 L) (U F' U' F) (U' L' U L)

F2L is harder to explain how each CE Pair can be more efficiently placed into the correct slot.
Looking through fast solvers solutions, trying different ways to pair up the pieces, and possibly learning algorithms for each case (http://cubesolv.es/ For Reconstructions).
My Solution: z' (U R U' R') (U L' U' L)

F2L-2:
Your Solution: y' (L' U L) y' (U R U R') U' (F' U2 F) y' (L' U L)
My Solution: y' (R U R' U) (L U L')

F2L-3:
Your Solution: (R U R' U') y (F' U' F) (U' L' U L)
My Solution: U2 (R U2 R') (U' R U R')

F2L-4:
Your Solution: (U R U R') U2' y (F U2 F') U2 y' (R U' R')
My Solution: U (R' U' R' U') (R U) (R U) R

OLL:
Your Solution: U F R U R' U' F' U' R U2 R' U' R U' R' U R U R' U R U' R' U R U2 R' U'

I currently use 1-Look OLL, but you can manage Sub-20 with 2-Look OLL.
My Solution: U R U R' U' x D' R' U R E z'

PLL:
Your Solution: U U U x R' U R' D2 R U' R' D2 R2 x'
U U U' U M2' U M2' U2 M2' U M2'

It is still possible to be Sub-20 with 2 look PLL, but by the time I was averaging 25-30 seconds, I had finished full PLL.
My Solution: U l2 D2 R U R' D2 l F l U'

Sorry, I can't make a video as I don't have a channel or things to record with.
