I am a novice, more than three minutes. Cube can train your memory, common sense and imagination of space...

First: you should learn some of the other sections of the forum.
Second: yes, this is the gear cube invented by Oskar van Deventer and, it's fun, REALLY fun. It's easy to solve, but on the other hand, I like to solve it just to see it scrambling and moving. XD
As a matter of fact, I have two black gear cubes, a normal one, and another one with stickers from Cubesmith and I'm planning to buy the ultimate version, which is a little bit different than this one, but a lot harder to solve.
