hey im baker`,
i learnt the LBL method about a year ago on a storebought, i could average around 1min and then stopped cubing for about 8months... i didn't think that i could learn the fridrich method because of the many algorithms needed.
in the last two months i have picked up the cube again and read about the gradual steps which finally lead to full fridrich so.. i have learnt intuitive F2L, 2look OLL and full PLL (3LLL i believe) and have also purchased several cubes from cube4you.com which include: cube4you DIY speedcube, type a (I) DIY, mini diansheng 3x3, eastsheen 4x4 and 5x5, and finally an mf8 megaminx. i also own an original rubik's magic made by matchbox in the 1980's (given to me from my mum) that i can solve reasonably fast.
after learning these intermediate methods my solve time is around 40-45secs average.. i need to practise F2L ALOT as it takes a fair chunk of my solve time (35sec). i think that my c/e pair recognition is too slow.
i am very interested in speedcubing and cant wait to get consistent sub-30 averages once i improve F2L.
my hobbies include online gaming such as Soldat (www.soldat.pl) and listening to music. i am also a linux user.
also, i am from australia and was wondering how big the cubing community is 'down under'
im sure i will learn invaluable information from the many experienced cubers on these forums
