So I guess I'm new here, been solving for a year now and i especially enjoy 3x3 and 4x4. Just one question: so I've doing slow solves and I've noticed that my ao5 and ao12 are actually faster than my normal solves. Is my look ahead that bad?

Well, it probably means that you could either just do slower turning and allow your solve tps to progress more naturally without forcing yourself to turn fast or put lots of practise into specifically lookahead.
