Hi Everyone!
I am a speedcuber from Australia and I've been at it for at least a year and I plan to keep going. I am able to solve from 2x2-5x5 and a megaminx but I really focus 2x2-4x4. I really like to try a pyraminx but I haven't gotten around to getting one. Below are my best average of 5 for 2x2-4x4, what method I use for each and what's my main cube at the moment:
2x2: 4.492 seconds (Ortega Method - Dayan Cube)
3x3: 20.567 seconds (Fridrich Method - Moyu Yulong)
4x4: 3mins 17 seconds (Yau Method - Shengshou)
As you can see I have plenty of space for improvement
I came to this forum to improve my times and to meet fellow cubers especially if you live in Brisbane or Gold Coast QLD Australia. I plan to start up a club at my university so my friends and I can have a big community of people speed cubing. It will start out as my friends and I slowly teaching them the ways then if they enjoy it they can get faster. Soon we will have enough to have an official competition up around my city! Speaking of competition my first and only competition was at Sydney for Australian Nationals 2014. It was a great experience but I was so so very nervous. It was great pleasure to meet some of the best cubers in Australia especially Feliks Zemdegs. Hopefully I get up to his level.
