I just joined the forums today and thought it would be nice to introduce myself.
My name is Jade and I learned how to solve a Rubik's cube in 4th grade using the Dan Brown method. After many years of not touching the Rubik's brand Rubik's cube I have at home, I became interested in cubing.
I am trying out the CFOP method right now. I can do intuitive F2L very slowly and 2-look OLL. I am trying to memorize full PLL and have not bothered to learn it 2-look. I have an unmodded V-Cube.
Anyway, it's nice to join the community of speedsolvers here.
My average right now is sub 1-minute by doing Dan Brown method (pretty bad I know), I plan on getting my average under 50 seconds after learning full PLL and practicing F2L. I don't know if I'll ever be able to get a sub-25 time, but cubing is still pretty interesting
On the other hand, 1:30 solves with Dan Brown method can still amaze most people at my school, haha.
Nice to meet you all.
