The Discovery Science Center's birthday is coming up, and to celebrate they want to hold a giant party. The Center is marked by a giant cube visible from all around, and they have supported speedcubing competitions in the past. We've decided to go for it and try to make history: A Guinness World Record for "Most people solving a Rubik's Cube at once."
The beauty of it is that it isn't a competition. There is no pressure, and nobody cares how fast you are. It's just a chance to come by, hang out with a bunch of cubers, and have a great time.
The center is in Santa Ana, in Southern California. If you know anyone else who can solve (even if it's not fast at all) let them know. It will be held December 20.
Please register at http://www.discoverycube.org/programs.aspx?q=90 and let us know how many people we can expect! I hope to see you there!
