I think you would also have to account for the weight of the bags and the weight of the actual cubes, because I think you have to carry all the cubes, unless its just solve/scramble/solve/repeat

No, don't have to carry the cubes.
The last record was 420 cubes in 4:30, and here's the video showing it with people running along with him and handing him the cubes
