I think I am going to start with those cubes seriusly... So I was wondering if anyone have a good guide for those cubes. And it should be a guide that I could become an expert with.

2x2x2 is easy if you know 3x3x3. For the Last Layer, just orient and permute the corners as you would on a 3x3x3.

4x4x4 and 5x5x5 centers can be solved intuitively. Same goes for pairing edges. Parity can be annoying though :-/

The Fridriech method for 2x2x2 is to slow...

Also, if you just pair up one pair at the time, in the 4x4 and 5x5 it will really go slow.

Nope.Bernett uses no special method for 2x2 and generally averages between 5-7 secs.I don't that is too slow.
I agree. 1 face, OLL, PLL can already be really fast (and PLL skips happen VERY often)
1 face + COLL is even better
And knowing 7 different methods and choosing between them depending on the scramble is probably the best method :)

I averaged around 9 sec. with that method. And the question was a good guide. Then you should count on that I am going to use the method.
And since I am a slow guy (you probably don't know this), that method won't work on me. I guess Guimond is something for me.

thanks alot! :)
