Start off with basic LBL method. You can technically do it with just 2 algs.
1. Solve 1 layer
2. Orient the top layer. There are 7 (i think) OLL cases, but just doing F R U R' U' F' from different angles will eventually solve it.
3. Permute the top layer. There are only 2 algs, but doing one of them twice will solve the 2nd case.
After you master that, you should learn ortega method.
With ortega, the first step changes, you only make a face instead of a whole layer. Then you need to learn at least 2 more PLLs (or rather PBLs, they permute both layers at once).
If you still wanna get faster, you can learn CLL, which is just like the LBL method, with OLL and PLL steps combined. Its 40 algorithms.
If you STILL wanna get faster, you can learn EG, which is kinda like the ortega version of CLL.
