Okay, the title says pretty much everything. Which one is better in your opinion, and why ?

Gans356v2 is less likely to lock up and is never scratchy or catchy. It is probably the least likely of any cube (ever) to lock up especially if properly lubed.

Yuexiao performs very poorly if it is dry or the lube has dried up. If properly lubed it is very fast.

However, the Yuexiao is much easier to control. The Gans356v2 is extremely hard to control, mostly in the sense that turning the faces they do not tend to line up square to the cube, whereas the Yuexiao faces tend to land closer to square. So the Gans356v2 requires very clean technique and not being sloppy. Feliks obviously has no problem with it but I think a lot of people find Gans356v2 a little hard to control.

The discussion isn't complete without the Weilong GTS which most people find better than either of the above, but the weilong GTS is almost as hard to control as the Gans. Furthermore Weilong GTS and Gans are 56mm, and Yuexiao being 57mm feels much bigger in the hands.

Right now I'd take the Gans over the Yuexiao. I've spent a lot of time working with the Gans. Like @efattah mentioned the Gans is quite difficult to control. It took me a while to feel comfortable with it. I literally persevered due to the high cost of the Gans. I really needed to justify to myself the spend on it. I'm glad that I did as the cube has settled nicely. I really like the weight and how it feels when turning. Algs flow nicely once you get a grip on controlling it.

The Yuexiao on the other hand feels light in comparison. It turns quicker and does square up well. It does however catch a lot. Not huge catches, but enough during a solve to slow you down. I'd take the GTS over the Yuexiao. The GTS is fast ... no really .. it's fast ... I've tried to slow mine down with weight 5 lube everywhere and it's still too fast. Perhaps my turning style is to to aggressive for it as the Gans is my main and it requires more force to move around. I still like it though when I constantly remind myself to use light fingers when turning. You can burn through algs with this cube most definitely.
