Actually I learnt bld from J perm, from OP 2bld to OP 3bld.
Learnt full PLL from CubeHead tho
May try to learn Roux from J perm

I strongly recommend Kian Mansour (elite Rouxber and [former] OH WR~holder) and also one of his biggest influences learning and growing in Roux, Kavin Tangtartharakul...
both great Rouxbers, knowledgeable, clear, concise, straight~up... I have particularly learned a bunch from Kavin's walk~through videos

I heard you use Pochmann (which is pretty cool, especially cos youre really fast), but have you considered 3-style? (I really want to learn 3-style, or blindfolded in general, but school sux)

Tbh imo it’s a decent scramble for Old Pochmann on 3BLD. The first few letters of edges memo are like “teas” while corner memo starts with “CD”

Esp I as have tried doing MBLD (PB 1/4, 42:04.35 if anyone cares), I found 3BLD a lot easier.

J Perm has so many good tutorials for blindfolded stuff. Why do yall hate on him? I mean sure, he sounds a bit like Kermit the Forg, but I learned all my PLL algs from his tutorial.

I agree he has good videos, but honestly I feel like his blindfolded videos aren't that good like for op his v3 video i feel was worse than his v2. Tbh take my word lightly since i suck at bld, I can do 2bld most of the time but haven't taken the time for 3bld yet. I feel like new cycles and stuff like that aren't explained well.

There's a nice RUD Rb alg that I find easier to execute than that one:

That's the one I use for OH
For normal 3x3 I use the inverse of the alg he originally put there, so R2 F R U R U' R' F' R U2 R' U2 R

I would recommend switching to these algs for 2x2 T perm and Y perm:
T: R' F R F' R U2 R' U R U2 R'
Y: R U2 R' U2 R' F R F' R U' R' F R' F' R

I’m already using this 2x2 T perm but for Y perm I wannt a shorter alg, like Y perm is my favourite PLL alg on 3x3, but I just can’t quite do sub 1 Y perm on 2x2. Any nicee 2x2 Y perm alg?

I’ve registered for a local comp here in Hong Kong on 26/5/2023, and seems YiHeng Wang is coming even though it’s not public holiday in mainland. I’m gonna go to this comp with my gf and it will be her very first comp. She is aiming at ranking top 3 among Hong Kong female cubers to get the special prize, which I believe she will probably be able to make it if she can get sub 15 avg normally. We hope to improve our cross tgt, but not really sure how. However, I’m gonna focus on 2x2 instead, as seems like 5.5 avg will be decent enough for me to make into 2x2 semifinal. I’m globally sub 5 in 2x2, and I have got more used to recognising PBL cases lately as I practiced more. I was still using LBL for 2x2 in my last comp and this time I really hope to get into 2x2 semifinal with a sub 5 avg.

My gf’s mains and goals (only have 2x2 and 3x3 in this local comp):

2x2
- main: GAN 251 M Pro UV Coated by bf James
- method: PBL
- goal: average sub 10

3x3
- main: GAN 12 M Leap UV Coated by bf James
- method: 2-look OLL, full PLL
- goal: average sub 15 and rank top 3 among Hong Kong female cubers

I traded my Pi Cube Premium UV Coated MoYu WeiLong WR Maglev 2021 Ball-core for it, and got a set of MGC springs for free from the factory (cost $0.3 for shipping tho). Then I sent my Valk 2 M with MGC Springs to Pi Cube Shop for Premium service. The cost to let them do the setup for me is $5.5, which is equivalent to the cost of a GTS3
